Cleveland State got revenge, just a little bit more than 1 year ago, Cleveland State lost to Green Bay in Overtime by 1 point in overtime 76-75, this year the Vikings won the late game. Green Bay Phoenix (7-10) (2-2 HL) lead by Kahlil Small a senior who scored his career high of 30 points against the Vikings who has seen 4 great years of Basketball at UW-Green Bay.

The first few minutes of the first half saw all Green Bay who led 8-0 to start, but after CSU started to move and score. After a low scoring first 12 minutes with the game being 12-8 and then thats when things started to change scoring wise. It just looked like Green Bay had nobody contributing but Kahlil Small who scored 30. There leading scorer per game is Sandy Cohen III 16.8 per game, scored only 4 points in which coach Dennis Felton had a word for saying they had their guards who were playing like post players and not like actual guards so it made those 2 areas of the court almost look like the opposite position and which worked well for the Vikings because they were not supposed to beat Green Bay in this game.

A quick couple of positive things or the Vikings (4-11) (1-1 HL) had 3 players perform really well Kenny Carpenter (20 Points) Bobby Word had a double-double which really helped the rebounding and last but not least, Tyree Appleby who had 14 points to lead CSU to a win, the Vikings’ next game will be on Saturday against UW-Milwaukee at 3:30 PM at the Wolstein Center
