Well we could all say that the Indians had a disappointing finish, but in the end it was a great season at the corner of Carnagie and Ontario. The Indians are currently in their first day of offseason. After winning 102 games and 60 losses, They had a 2-0 lead in the ALDS. Many believed the Yankees are a year ahead of schedule, thats why they are nicknamed “The Baby Bombers”. Game 5 was one to forget if your an Indian fan. Certainly one to remember if you are a Yankee fan. Didi Gregorious became just the 3rd play in Sports Most Storied Franchise to hit 2 home runs in a winner-take-all game, Both off of arguably the best pitcher alive Corey Kluber.

The first inning started with a solo bang from Gregorious which already gave the Yankees the lead and they never lost it. And in the 4th inning again, Gregorious hit it out again to the same spot. Which at that point made it 3-0 Yankees. The Indians weren’t done yet, scoring 2 runs in the 5th inning to cut it to a 1 run game which it remained a 1 run game until the 9th inning. The 9th inning was the complete game changer which many fans were just in complete shock. Brett Gardner, Currently the longest tenured Yankee, saw 12 pitches than Gardner doubled to right that Jay Bruce threw it in and a weak fielding effort by the young shortstop Francisco Lindor forced Todd Frazier to score and have the Yankees take a 5-2 lead at that point. In the bottom half, Cleveland got 1 runner on base and then the Yankees finished it off.
